That means you see exactly what you are looking for—no hidden feeds, no sponsored hurdles pushing creators down, and absolutely 0% commission fees. Every dollar of an item’s listed price goes directly into the hands of the maker you’re supporting. To make this 0% commission model possible, a transparent platform fee is added to your total at checkout. This approach ensures our crafters and vendors keep exactly what they charge for their hard work while allowing us to maintain a fair, community-driven marketplace.

1. Getting Started: Creating Your Account

Before you start searching for your favorites and filling up your cart, the first step is to sign up and become a customer of Homespun Nook! Creating an account allows you to securely check out, track your orders, and become a part of our growing community.
Below is a step-by-step process on getting signed up including a video for a visual presentation.

2. Exploring and Finding Treasures

Whether you are looking for handcrafted goods or treats from the Pet Pantry, finding exactly what you need is straightforward:

  • Category Navigation: From the homepage, use our top menu to dive directly into specific areas like Bath and Body, Jewelry and Accessories, Pet Wearables, or Playtime.

  • Direct Search: Know exactly what you want? Type it into the Search For Your Next Product… bar at the top of the page. Because our platform does not use algorithms to dictate what you see, your search results will cleanly and honestly display the items that match your keywords.

3. The Checkout Experience

When you find an item you love, simply add it to your Cart.

  • Multi-Maker Orders: Since Homespun Nook hosts many different independent shops, your cart might contain items from multiple different creators at once.

  • Shipping: Each maker handles their own shipping and fulfillment independently. Because of this, if you buy from three different makers in one checkout, you will receive three different packages and tracking numbers.

4. Managing Your Orders

Your customer dashboard is your central hub for all your activity.

  • Order Tracking: Click on My Account at the top of the page at any time to check the status of your purchases, view past orders, and manage your saved shipping addresses.

  • Keep Exploring: If your order history is empty, or you just want to return to the main storefront, you can always click the Browse products button on your account page to be taken straight back to our welcoming homepage.

5. Joining the Conversation

Homespun Nook is a community. Click on Community in the main menu to join our buyer and maker forums. Here, you can ask questions, share how much you loved a recent purchase, and connect directly with the crafters and pet product makers who create the items you bring into your home.
