Vendor Help Guide

Selling on Homespun Nook is designed to be simple, transparent, and rewarding. Whether you are taking your first steps into selling or moving an established craft, pet product, or supply shop to a better home, this guide covers everything you need to know to succeed.

How Selling Works

Homespun Nook is built around a straightforward, community-first marketplace model:

  • 100% Earnings: You keep 100% of every sale you make. We charge 0% admin commission.

  • Free to List: There are no upfront listing fees or subscription costs to showcase your work.

  • Built for Makers: A dedicated space specifically for crafters, pet product makers, and supply vendors.

  • Community Over Algorithms: You don’t have to fight against mass-produced commercial and unrelated items or aggressive algorithms to get noticed.

5 Steps to Get Started

1. Create Your Shop Account

Click Sell Now from the top menu. Fill out the simple registration form with your name, email, and preferred store name. Once submitted, you will immediately get access to your Store Manager dashboard.

2. Set Up Your Storefront

Your storefront is your digital workbench. From your Store Manager dashboard:

  • Upload a store logo or profile picture.

  • Add a brief bio introducing yourself and your craft.

  • Set up your payout details so you can receive earnings directly.

3. List Your Products

Click Add Product in your Store Manager to create your first listing:

  • Photos: Upload bright, well-lit photos showing your item from multiple angles and highlighting handcrafted details.

  • Details: Write a clear title and descriptive text detailing materials, sizing, and care instructions.

  • Price & Inventory: Set your price and quantity available.

  • Category: Select the category that best fits your product (e.g., Home & Living, Pet Pantry, Pet Wearables, Bath & Body).

4. Pack & Ship

When a customer purchases an item, you will receive an email notification and a dashboard alert:

  • View shipping details in your Store Manager under Orders.

  • Package your item carefully to ensure safe travel.

  • Mark the order as shipped and provide tracking information to your buyer.

5. Get Paid

Once your order processed, your earnings are credited directly to you without hidden cuts or platform delays.

Seller Best Practices

  • Show off the Craft: Buyers on Homespun Nook value genuine effort and craftsmanship. Use clear natural lighting for photos and highlight what makes your work unique.
